About Ferragudo.....
Ferragudo is a quaint Algarve fishing village, unspoilt by tourism. Its hilltop castle ruins, cobbled streets, small harbour and traditional village square make it a real find. With bars, restaurants and cafes – some on the waterfront, this is a truly picturesque resort to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Ferragudo has two sandy and spacious beaches – the peaceful Angrinha beach, and the larger beach of Praia Grande -serviced by four beach bar restaurants and a water sports centre.
Our apartment is just under a kilometre to Ferragudo village centre. The beach a further 800m – literally 5 minutes in the car (or the local bus). There are also supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the apartment.
Portimao can also be reached on foot, over the old bridge, in about 25 minutes - or by car in 5. The port and beach at Praia de Rocha a further couple of kilometre.
Ferragudo is ideally placed to explore the Western Algarve with many fantastic and varied places easily accessible by car/taxi within 10-20 minutes:

About our apartment....
Sleeps 6 comfortably - total area in excess of 170 sq meters. Air conditioning and central heating throughout.

Our brand new, spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment has a fantastic large private roof terrace with views out towards the river and mountains. In a quiet location but within walking distance of Ferragudo centre (or a few minutes drive if you prefer) with its shops, bars and restaurants. it is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious holiday.
The apartment has a roomy garage, plus ample additional parking, great for those who chose to drive themselves from the airport. It is situated on the third (top) floor, with a lift to ease the efforts of a couple of flights of stairs. Electric shutters at all windows add to the security of the apartment but also help to keep cool for your comfort.
The apartment is furnished to an exceptional standard, and very well equipped throughout:
- A fully fitted new kitchen with everything you should need during your stay - including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and plenty of utensils
- 2 modern bathrooms -one en-suite (with shower), the other with spa bath and over bath shower
- Spacious, comfortable and airy lounge with seating and dining for 6 . Entertainment here includes Satellite TV, DVD (CD) plus a selection of movies/music for use during your stay
- 3 good sized bedrooms (1 double/ 2 twin) all with fitted double wardrobes and drawers. The double and one of the twins have private balconies and hairdryers provided for your use
- Huge private roof terrace with BBQ, loungers and dining furniture for 6
- A high quality central sound system throughout the whole apartment that can connect up to your iPod/MP3 player (cables supplied)
- Books, games and Play Station for your entertainment during your stay

Linen, towels and a weekly maid service is provided (more frequent services available for a supplement - just let us know your requirements).
